Attention!
All music snobs and punk enthusiasts who rated Pavement so high and raved about its place as one of the pivotal pieces of the California punk scene? So that I used like 50 e-music choices to get the big-ass "Crooked Rain" cd? Now that I've FINALLY finished listening to the whole album? It sucks, you suck, the band sucks and most importantly YOU suck. I hate you.

Current Mood: annoyed
Grooving to: Pavement - Which sucks and no one should listen to

I was the same way with Radiohead. After hearing from about a half dozen 'experts' how incredible they were, I broke down and bought OK Computer.

And, you know, maybe they really are that awesome. I couldn't understand the singer enough to tell.

Music snobs know nothing.
Raise your spirits.
Go listen to some Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies.
I recommend the Take a Break album.
It is worth it for their covers of Hello and Mona Lisa (on accordion and calliope, no less)

I own one Pavement CD (Brighten the Corners). It isn't bad, but nothing I'd consider life-changing.
