I think this is now my favorite Wes Anderson movie. Its just cussin' brilliant. I can't recall ever reading the book as a kid though, I don't think I ever got into Dahl. The titular Mr. Fox is a chicken- and thief who goes into a less risky line of work after getting married and having a son. But he ends up going back to his thieven' ways after he moves his family to a new home near the three meanest and richest farmers around...

Clooney meshes well with Anderson's cast of regulars and the animation is just perfect. The whole movie is wonderful and smart and fun and moving and funny and clever. And it even has an excellent sound-track. Though I can't recall an Anderson movie that doesn't have that...

As a time travel story this anime was..well silly. The "rules" for how Makoto can make her time jumps aren't worked out very well. The movie does use the gimmick for some amusing sequences though. As a teen romantic drama it works better. Even if I thought the ending could have been stronger...

Best. Use. Of. Hitler. Ever!

Also, I'm glad to see that despite them fucking up airing it on tv, Comedy Central/Adult Swim's website had the episode running fine...

Something about the big-jawed human males in this bothered me. Creeped me out a little. But other than that a fun movie. The hero, Susan aka Ginomrica was likable and the action sequences were good. Especially the giant robot fight. Plus Seth Rogen is good at these animated comic relief characters. In this case B.O.B. the blobby thing...

So I'm watching my Complete Season 3, and these uncensored episodes feature a LOT of truly unpleasant full frontal nudity. Seriously, even if I were into dudes, I don't think these would be wangs I'd want to see...

So terrible. So very terrible. It has some kind of awful gravity to it that makes me keep switching back and watching more. Why? WHY DO I HURTS MYSELF? The bad combo 2-d and CG animation. The writing. Oh gods. Long lost secret brothers? Ludicrous pseudo-science even a Trek writer would reject. SO BAD!

While each of these flash animated movie recaps is pretty funny, it would have been nice if Netflix had packaged them in blocks instead of making me download each short as a separate episode. That got old real quick...

This is such a visual story that I have to wonder how well the book can evoke the same sense of strange wonder. While the story is a somewhat fairy tale standard of the Foolish but Plucky Girl its told and crafted well. And the visuals are very stunning. Some people make a very valid complaint that Gaiman goes too often to the "magical otherworld" well, but its a concept he works so well with...

Went to see it last night. Excellent movie. Cute, funny, sad and touching at various points. I think I still like Wall-E more, but this is very much one of Pixar's best, I especially loved the doggies...

A cute if predictable Disney movie. The dog is adorable though. And Rhino the Hamster is a scene stealer. Enjoyable but nothing spectacular...

Executive Producer Bruce Timm presents six short films meant to bridge between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. All six are done in Japanese animation styles which is probably the most interesting part. Not that the stories are bad. They're very much better than average Batman stories. But they're not really new ground Batman stories. Worth a watch for casual Bat-fans at the very least...

While this collection has that one with the cute desk lambs and "Jack-Jack Attack" and a cool one about dueling one-man bands it also has one featuring both the ugliest and scariest looking baby ever. Really seriously creepy baby. Also some adequate shorts for Monsters, Inc and Cars...

Worth the hour to watch, but since the best ones are ON various Pixar dvds as extras already, that is about it...

Good film for the most part. Keri Russell and Nathan Fillion manage some of the chemistry they had in Waitress even just doing voices. Plus this Steve Trevor seems more competant than the original comics version. Didn't like the bimbofied Etta Candy though. Also I kept wondering where all the Amazons got their lip gloss from...

But still some funny moments and some good (if weirdly bloodless) action sequences. Pluto/Hades was especially nice and creepy...

1) Darth Chewbacca, the Sith Strangler must face Sugar-Coated Macaque Putin

2) The preferred minor super-power would be the ability to speak both turtle AND tortoise

3) I shouldn't eat succulent babies. Which is totally unfair as they're SUCCULENT. Those are the BEST ones!

4) Popeye's financial plan is seen as the best for the nation

5) KRACKADOOOOOM!

6) The perfect gift for a loved one is to destroy their enemies

7) Results for who killed Mr. Body are inconclusive

8) Over a 1/4 of you don't want me to have a monkey butler. This makes me sad. And angry. And determined. MONKEY BUTLER YOU WILL BE MINE!

9) Its a toss up as to which would be scariest to find in your closet, bees or big spiders

10) Mork as the best roommate? Really? Williams during his coke years?

Since movie studios are big on live-action 80s cartoon you know what I'd like to see? Jem & The Holograms. Except with the focus on struggling punk girl band The Misfits (who would probably have to change their name because there already is a real band named that) trying to succeed and being seemingly blocked at every turn by the corporate managed glam/bubblegum pop band...

A standard surfer movie, right down to the hero with the unorthodox and underdog background. Except with penguins. Some excellent voice acting picks though, like James Woods and Jeff Bridges...
