Sully  
Mediocore movie elevated to good by Tom Hanks just Tom Hanks-ing up the joint.  They really had to stretch out "Will Computer Simulations Show that Sully Was a Dangerous Risk-Taker Rather Than a National Hero" bits to get the movie from a 1/2 hour to just over 90 minutes.  And thats with running the emergancy sequence twice AND a pair of brief flashbacks.  But those water-landing scenes were pretty great.

I will say this much about the plot of the movie: from what I've read of the NTSB investigation, the initial set of simulations they ran did seem to indicate that Sully should have been able to safely get the plane back to the airport, and therefore the NTSB initially thought his ditching the plane in the Hudson River was unnecessary and put the passengers and people on the ground at risk. So the bit of the film with Sully getting "raked over the coals" by the NTSB investigators was based on actual fact...
